Cry Baby Cry

Kendrick Perkins OKC basketball teamSo I blew $110 on the Preakness. Flashpoint was in the mix for a bit as was Dance City, but it was not to be. When you take away the Bruins bet to win the series that I have pending (and not looking good I might add), I have $49.46 left to play with. I will update the Stats numbers below tomorrow. The Bruins looked really bad on defense. Mistakes abound all around. To blow a 3-0 lead is not good play period. I assume Aceves, pitching for the Red Sox right now, is sweating up a storm again. He drips nerves out there.

The Red Sox win last night on the Over/Under bet was obviously huge for me and allowed be to waste as much as I did on the racetrack today. The kitty is not at zero until it is a zero, so I at least have until the Bruins series is over to ring the final death bell. I am going to nurse the remaining $49.46 balance in order to keep this experiment alive as long as possible. Who would have thunk that what could amount to one of my last bets is going to bank on the king of babies. I am actually putting faith in Kendrick Perkins. I shuttered even as wrote it. Yes, I know that the whole of Celtic fandom is wishing we still had him, and if we did we would still be in the playoffs… yadda yadda, crap. I hate the guy, and he was not that good. But my friend and foe the “Gut” likes him tonight.
